So as the year 2009 comes to a close, I have decided, for the first time in years, to have a clean slate in the men department. I decided to let go of some of those lingering relationships that I had established over the years that were non-productive. Almost all of them understood. SN: I am happy about that... What I have realized is that I was doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results....(the definition of insanity)... I really desire something different in regards to a relationship in 2010.
I know part of it is me.... I have been told that I have a "I could care less if your in my life or not" attitude recently and I don't like that label. I do care a lot but I don't sweat the small stuff.
So anyway, the purpose of this blog for me is to share and get feedback on some of the dating scenarios that I go through in 2010. I think it is fun to get the opinion of the population and my peers. All names and identities will not be included to respect privacy. I hope that all who reads enjoys....
I think one of our problems as single women, we go looking for something not really knowing what we're actually looking for. Instead of looking we should be found. I struggled with that I don't care attitude also. I have decided to let the man know up front what my standards are and if he can't deal with it, then see ya...he was not the right one. Men only do what we allow them to do. So set your standards and stick with them. Take your time and don't rush into anything...you have the right to be selective!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree be selective but also be a detective. Men lie and say they don't have anyone just to get in good with you. It doesn't matter if they have someone or a family. I'm just saying don't rush and don't let him fool you.
